FROM: MISSING

Missing teen found in Henrico prostitution ring bust, (I originally posted this case on March 15, 2012: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=374446889242318&set=a.299027606784247.72765.212865135400495&type=1&ref=nf)

It's so sad so many people are in denial that sex trafficking exists right in their own city and that PIMPS, (yes pimps are sex traffickers) often lure young, at risk teens, and sometimes even ABDUCT them. Then they drug them with heroin and FORCE, (yes I said force) them to do horrible things.

I spent yesterday day arguing about this same thing: http://www.facebook.com/wtae4/posts/313773128696949 in another recent case I worked on where a teen girl was reported missing and was found and now sex crimes is investigating: Sex crimes division investigating Shaler teen’s disappearance http://www.wpxi.com/news/news/local/missing-shaler-teen-found-alive/nN5CJ/

It's time to wake up America, sex trafficking, is pimping, is happening. While pimps may not use traditional methods and it may cause you to think it doesn't happen anymore it's BECAUSE they use the INTERNET now, sites like backpage.com, craigslist, etc.

It's time to stop letting your children walk to and from school by themselves where they could easily be abducted by a child molestor or pimp, doesn't matter if they are 7 years old Find Calysta Cordova Missing From Pueblo, Colorado or 17. These perverts look for places where they can easily grab a child.

Even more sad is a lot of these cases involving pimps will never be prosecuted because the victims don't want the horrible details to be public or are afraid to testify. The pimps know this and that's why they continue to operate so freely.

As sad as it is, when this happens to a girl and she is found safe she is never going to be okay and you can't just pretend it didn't happen and life is going to be all better. They must seek counseling and also justice against those who did this to them or it's going to keep on happening, maybe not to them but to someone else.

A pimp is no better than a pedophile and they should all be given life sentences in prison.

Wake up America! Pimping is sex trafficking and it does exist and they do kidnap and lure teens!

A terrifying case for a Florida family has come to an end in Central Virginia, with the bust of a prostitution ring.

A middle school student, who vanished without a trace in Miami three months ago, was found Wednesday, in the West End.

City of Miami police say that 13-year-old Alexandra Flores ran away from a drug treatment center in Miami on February 24. They say she was an excellent middle school student, but had a drug addiction.

Soon after her disappearance, police in Miami passed out flyers close to where she disappeared, but to no avail.

This is what her father, Alejandro said shortly after she disappeared.

“It’s been crazy. I can’t go to sleep I can’t even do nothing and I can’t even function right now,” said Alejandro Flores.

But on Wednesday police found Alexandra almost one-thousand miles away in a hotel room in Henrico’s west end.

Investigators said she was caught in a prostitution ring. Police said there were several other people in the room with her.

While police said Alexandra was found unharmed, the FBI and Henrico police won’t say yet how she ended up so far away from home, and with the wrong crowd.

Miami Detective Jose Rojas said her family is just happy to know she’s okay.

Miami investigators said Alexandra is being held in a juvenile detention center in Henrico. Henrico police said the investigation is ongoing.

She was listed in the National Crime Information Center. Few tips came in, the ones that did – never checked out, according to Detective Jose Rojas with the City of Miami Police Departments Special Victims Unit.

“Pretty much being the age of the child, age 13, it`s a case we make a priority,” said Rojas.

Then Wednesday, police found Alexandra almost 1,000 miles away in a hotel room in the West End of Henrico.

Investigators said she was caught in a prostitution ring. Police said there were several other people in the room with her.

While Miami police say Alexandra was found safe, and unharmed, the FBI and Henrico police won’t say how she ended up so far away from home, and with the wrong crowd. But Detective Jose Rojas says her family is just happy to know she’s okay.

“It was very difficult for their child to be missing for this period of time, you know. Being a parent myself, I understand that,” he said.

Henrico police, Lt. Linda Toney said the investigation is ongoing. No word on any arrests.

Miami police said Alexandra is likely being held in a juvenile detention center in Central Virginia.
