Bullies

Bullies aren’t just found in school yards anymore.  They’re right in your teenager’s pocket.
For adolescents, school has always been a tough place.  I didn’t enjoy the names “eagle beak “ or “chicken legs” back when I was in high school.  But today it’s tougher than ever.  With modern technology—bullies can follow and target their barbs at your teenager wherever they go and for the whole world to see.
Parents can help by monitoring their teenager’s cell phones and online accounts, reporting bullying to proper authorities. With the recent school shootings and suicides sparked by bullying, officials are more responsive to put a stop to it.  So if your teen is being bullied, take care…to take care of it.
